solidfoamsoul: (Look on the bright side - Black Books)
OMG Lawrence is wearing gray. He’s tip toeing from his black wardobe… Is this Glen on bass? I think so. I’m watching Styx/REO speedwagon. LMAO Lawrence’s confusion with the camera.

Ugh.

Okay.

So I was turning on to a street getting home and the yellow blinky light yeild light across on coming traffic was yellow and blinky and apparently I wasn’t paying attention enough and whamo I got hit in the rear passenger side. Spun my shit around. air bags gone off, got a nice seat belt bruise too. Son of a bitch.

Also, getting home and getting the shit out of my car, I was freaking out cuz I couldn’t find Beaker. He is a Muppet keychain on my rear view mirror. The keychain ripped from the hair tie (luckily I had my windows up!) … He was sitting in the back seat. Sitting perfectly up. The look on his face was not lost on me.

aasdjadkjfhskjahahf

It’s more likely I’ll have to get a new car. Which I kinda don’t even want now. MY CAR is fucked. I just want MY THINGS.

I’m glad I didn’t put any of my stickers on there, like I was supposed to do ages ago…

adlkjafa goddamn it.

I;m forgo-ing finishing “Always” in which Richard Dreyfuss has just exploded in a plane crash … I think I will watch some Styyyyyyx… (with REO Speedwagon, but I’m not in it for them.)

IF A CAR HAS AN OIL CHANGE THREE WEEKS AGO IT SHOULD NOT BE 1/3 FULL NOW.

SOMETHING IS OBVIOUSLY WRONG.

WHY ARE MY PARENTS TELLING ME TO "JUST KEEP CHECKING IT".

HOW DO I COME FROM THESE PEOPLE? JFC. I FEEL LIKE MY BROTHER ARGUING LOGIC TO THEM. OMG.

IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH A CAR YOU GET IT FIXED.

I DON'T CARE IF I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT, IF THEY'RE GOING TO BE BITCHES ABOUT THIS, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE MAYBE 300 DOLLARS LEFT, IF I'M LUCKY, CUZ OF SCHOOL.

I WOULD RATHER HAVE A FIXED CAR AND NO MONEY THAN NO CAR BECAUSE IT EXPLODED.

I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS BULLSHIT.

Yay

I have a Pixar Firefox theme, drank a Pepsi, and finally stopped feeling like a lap dog/door mat/pathetic loser! I don't care anymore!!

And I'm on episode 19 of season 3 of "Perfect Strangers". Yay for sitcoms of the 1980s... But of course the part I'm watching is taking forever to load while the next two are finished...

I wonder what's for dinner.

Ooh! Also happy cuz I finally cleaned the inside of my car and I got the tub thing of lotion out that was wedged in my back cup holder.

I still gotta wash it and get the oil changed.

Actually, I haven't the slightest clue, but that song kicks ass.

Other things that kick ass:

1) I got my car back! Huzzah! Yes, it was returned by my dad's friend who fixed it and saved us about 1,500 dollars, dirty inside and out and with an empty tank AND it squeaks when makeing sharp left turns. But I got it back, dammit. Brand new paint job and all that. (It was totalled.) I love my Gonzo. Which, by the way, I must remember to search for a Gonzo Intenna Topper. I think they used to have them at Hot Topic... but they were only Fozzie and Animal.... I got a Beaker/Citrus air freshener... but it was REALLy hot that week and rainy, so I had to leave my windows up in case of downpour and it made the car smell not so citrus-y fresh.

2) NightCat Grove's "Of Devils and Angels" MST3K fan fic has been updated.

3) This thing from "Serenity" or promotion stuff for said movie. Whatever it is, it's awesome. Warning, though. It's River creepified.

4) I got both "Death Rat" and "A Year at the Movies (by Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy, respectivly) the other day. I'm halfway through "A Year at the Movies." Kevin's awesome. I already have a list compiled of Movies to See just from the NPR tapes I listened too off myspleen.com. Jeez, Murphy.

5) (The best one.) I have a interveiw for the library Monday at 10:30. Wish me luck, pray, send me flowers and chocolates, whatever, I HAVE to get this job!

Also, happy belated birthday to Richard Hunt! He would have been 54 on Aug 16th.

Like my new layout?

I got a paper cut from a receit at the gas station I didn't even want. I pressed the 'No' button. *sigh*

Least of my worried though. Yesterday, I got in a car wreck with some crazy woman. (She delayed in signing the ticket that my cousin-lawyer says we weren't even suppose to get, by yelling that her integrity was at stake and she wants me to pay for her car. I believe there *may* have been one dime-sized dent to the side of her massive Ford Explorer. I'm not gonna pay for fixing that! You can bang that back out with a hammer.) My little Ford Escort was nearly pushed off the overpass, not to mention a nice textbook size dent right behind my gass tank, or that my entire front end was shifted about three inches.

I'm not worried about having to pay for the other woman's car. George is a really good lawyer and since no body witnessed the accident (except for my friend [livejournal.com profile] kittencuffs who was in my passenger seat and the crazy woman's 5yr old daughter who was in the backseat and then moved to the passenger seat when the incompetent policeman told us to drive to the BP station) George's going to say it's a civil matter and have it dismiss. I say my light was green, she says her light was green. Either way, I loose because I've got no headlights and burning rubber for right turns.

And if it can't get any better than that folks...

[livejournal.com profile] kittencuffs's mother's exboyfriend/next door neighbor killed himself. Ali's mom blames herself and last night after she talked to the cops, having found his body, and even though she's a nurse, I was quite worried she'd got for the can of beer in the fridg. But she didn't! Yay! (She's an alcoholic, but she's been sober for.... I don't know. A little while? A couple months? More? Less? Ali can fill us all in.)

Up note: That same night a neighbor found a tiny kitten wandering around another yard, picked him up and handed it to another neightbor who prompty shoved the kitten in Ali's face. Ali's mom doesn't want to keep him but I think they will. (Check out [livejournal.com profile] kittencuffs's journal for pictures.)

Down note: My 84 year old grandmother is doing badly and is in the hospital right now. The rest home put her there this morning at 5:30.

Oh, did I mention my birthday's tomorrow? I'll be 20. Ali's is the day after that. So if you would like to send me a small gift or card or something, or help with repairing my car, my PayPalaccount is "donuthobbesATsecret-agent.com" and at amazon.com type "Lara Frazier" in the Wish list search.
