"Ah, sixteenth century France!"
"Um, Doctor, it looks more like a spaceship to me."
"Or a small room in a space ship."
"Ah," the Doctor looked disappointed, "So it does."
"You were hoping we just wouldn't notice, weren't you?"
The Doctor turned to Rory, giving a pouty frown to Rory's expectant look.
"GREETINGS!" A voice boomed, making all three jump.
"That's a face." Amy stated, wide eyed.
"A green face." Rory concluded.
The Doctor frowned curiously, "How could you two notice that it's not sixteenth century France, but NOT notice the big head in the jar."
"I AM NOT IN A JAR. I AM IN A TUBE." The big face boomed.
"Tomato, tomahto," The Doctor shrugged and stepped forward, "Hello, then! I'm the Doctor and these are my friends--"
"AMY POND AND RORY WILLIAM. I AM ZORDON. I AM WELL AWARE OF WHO YOU ARE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING."
The Doctor raised an eyebrow, "Have you now?"
"Greetings, Doctor!" A voice came from the darkness. Red lights flashed in a line as the creature emerged.
"Oh. A robot." The Doctor seemed disappointed then turned to Rory and Amy to explain quickly, "He sounded like k-9. I thought he was K-9."
Amy gave him a sympathetic face while Rory looked utterly lost at what to say. He shrugged, "Sorry?"
"I am not K-9, Doctor. I am Alpha-5." The robot shuffled forward and pressed three objects in their hands.
"Ooh! A t-rex!" The Doctor exclaimed excitedly, looking at the shiny gold medallion in his hands.
"What is this?" Amy squinted at hers and held it for the light to shine at a different angle.
"Pteranodon?" Rory guessed, then answered to Amy's odd look, "Or Pterodactyl. But they're smaller. Anyway, better than mine." He showed it to her.
"You've got an elephant?"
"Wooly mammoth!" The Doctor cheered, "I win!"
"Ay-yi-yi!" exclaimed Alpha Five.
And so it become that Rory, Amy, the Doctor and two other companions of the past became the new league of Power Rangers...
I hope this was okay! When Power Rangers first started I watched it, but after the second movie, I think, I stopped. I left it open at the end for you to choose the other two... :)
