solidfoamsoulLast night's ragey/depressive thoughts were brought on because I asked for help somewhere else (not LJ) and was told "your friends shouldn't be forced to choose for you". Followed by everyone else having "no opinion" about the list.
Well, fuck me. Sorry that me actually caring about what my friends think is such a huge inconvenience for you. And having "no opinion"? That's just fucking lazy, or being hurtful on purpose. All of which I do not need.
I get it if you don't know the fandom, or the character and don't want to steer me in the direction of "sounds better" over "best character choice".
But I didn't pull those names out of my ass. I mean, they all pertain to that character, obviously, so picking one that sounds better as a username is all I wanted.
Why yes, I'm taking this personally. This is my "friends list" I'm talking about. People I thought might WANT to help me for something as terribly trivial as an RP account.
I don't think it's entirely petty that I might become a bit upset over being told that not only do my own creations not matter, but they shouldn't matter to anyone else and that by thinking that they possibly could, of course, I'm a horrible person.
I asked for help and no one cared to give it. How am I the bad person in that?
And it isn't as if I'm relying solely on the opinion of my friends list. As someone said, it IS a personal choice. The list I compiled is one of names I do like, not random options for sheer chance to control the outcome.
And all that being said... I've thought of a few more names to add. /facepalm
Thank you to those who did let me know what name they liked best, and especially to those who said WHY.
(And even jokey names are good. LULZ are always welcomed. Especially right now.)
